OK Extreme Sports, Surfer Dudes Let's hear stories and see videos

When i was young i must have touched the 100 mark as well. But on a steeper road than that. The faster one would enable averagely trained people to go 60 whent it is flat. And without supporting wind.

BTW: these bikes are relatively heavy and therefore as slow uphill as they are fast otherwise.

I've hit 35MPH on a Skateboard and it was way too fast! Scared the crap out of me and I couldn't wait to slow down.

I have a nephew who does downhill on a professional level. He wears full leathers and a motorcycle type helmet.
He has been officially clocked at over 70MPH!

Here's a guy hitting near 90MPH

I've had a love of surfing ever since I was a kid.....in Montana.....where there are no waves.....

Never been but love Surfing Docs and movies

Endless Summer 2 ( and 1 maybe)
Step Into Liquid
Chasing Giants

I used to hang out at a coffee shop that was next door to a surf shop out on the coast. Spent countless hours chatting it up with real surfers.

World Record Run 91.17MPH

broke a wrist doing that ------ no safety gear...........(shorts t-shirt) ...no 100+ mph (no idea how fast I was going)---- just a real long hill ...............speed wobbles 3/4 th of the way down --- nose dive over the front/............road rash over half my body-----

Surfed some on the east coast of Fl as a kid visiting cousins who all surfed Cocoa Beach RON JON heaven -- and the like---- wasnt very good but had loads of fun

I had one of those falls. Big downhill and I was wearing shorts and nothing else, not even shoes. Had a friend roll along beside me in his car in neutral.
He said I bit it at around 23MPH. I thought I would never stop tumbling and skidding down the asphalt...no broken bones, but contusions everywhere!

Being from the hillbilly mountains of Wv, theres not a lot of extreme sports around growing up, save maybe dirtbike riding which i did in my younger days. Hell, i crossed the ocean when i was 22 but never sat foot on a beach until i was 23 lol. But i became a massive fan of the ocean and go all the time now.

One thing i got into there, was bodyboarding ( boogie boarding). I first bought one and thought you just floated like a goober until i saw little kids tearing it up and i actually learned by watching others on the beach. Its a blast once you get the hang of it and catch a good wave, doing some tricks along the way.

Although 2 years ago i nearly broke my neck when i rode into a riptide and had my board ripped from under me. Got launched in the air, smashed into the shorebed and cracked my head against it. Real fun dragging my big ass outta the water and sitting on the beach with an injured spinal column and a 4inch gash on my chin. I must've looked super cool to my wife and kids on the shore, as i started plugging the wound with baby diaper cream and a holding a diaper against it to stop bleeding because i was ill prepared lmao

I have done some indoor skydiving too and plan on doing the real thing possibly next year

Indoor skydiving? That sounds kinda fun. My younger brother has jumped from planes a few times, says it's awesome. I've never gone. TBH, at this age now, I'm not entirely sure that I crave the adrenaline fixes as much as I did when I was younger. Still, I bet it's a load of fun

Its a blast man! If you ever find yourself in a situation to try it, i highly suggest it. Its a LOT tamer than the real thing im sure and certainly safer lol but its a blast and not hard on your body at all. Once you get your body aligned right and relax, its a rush. Like flying in a tube!
