The Wiggy is a great solid-state pedal platform. The Transtube circuit is one of my faves. The '59 is for fuzzy tweed gooeyness -- all dials on max -- gets your blood pumping and fingers dancing.

For a while now its just been the Explorer Pro into the JCM2000 DSL50 with the 1960A 300w cab and MF400B 400watt cab. I started using the Joyo Ultimate Drive to front end boost it. Occasionally use the Line 6 POD X3 Live for a few fx

Thats been a tough as nails amp and very faithful. First Marshall I ever bought , back in my teenage years in the mid 90s from doing summer slave labor for a couple years! Lol

People ask me whats your fav jcm 800..i go umm,ya mod em all anyways...so my answer is always SLX..here is my baby . donated it to my friends studio. It gets on a bunch of recordings,,

Hell yeah, I hear ya! That is awesome! And yeah you are exactly right: it is essentially a factory hot rodded JCM800 2203/2204, with more gain from the extra ECC83! Ive even heard them referred to as MkIV Master Volumes
