I count it no less than a miracle than that one day while hanging sheetrock at my old church, I took a break to see what it was like to play a set of drums.. It led to me wanting my own kit, and my buddy who actually played the drums for church also worked at the music store I got them at.
As I waited for them to be delivered, he told me about 2 drummers who were giving a free clinic at the store and then playing a gig at a local small club in Baltimore. I got my first exposure to DT for free at this show, What a treat, oh and the other drummer was Rod Morgenstein. Dixie Dregs opened for DT.
