Custom Mahogany 2X12 Cabinet Speaker Choices:

Cabinet is wired up...the (2) 16-ohm speakers are wired in parallel. The stereo/mono switch allows only the left jack to function in 'mono' and disconnects the right jack...

MAN has it been too long since I took a hit off the Zep needle.
Like a double barrel shotgun, Custard Pie is followed up by The Rover.
Robert, I know you are the guitar playing equivalent to the Swiss army knife combined with Lazerlike focus in your ears and fingers. BUt I also read you mention drums. Do yourself a favor and give this a listen with headphones and check out Bonham's drumming here. Pure POWER but with groove unlike anyone before or since. Something about that 26 inch kick drum, his footwork and just his timing and feel to drive the rest of the band is what I notice most.

This pedal will do Custard Pie, without a doubt.

The pedal is saturation city, out of manufacturing but easy to find at under $100

I'm not exaggerating the instructions even have settings for buckers and single coils to achieve this songs sonics.

I made an AMP/Cab adaptation................this is very high tech with ZERO SOLDERING
hack.jpg

wanted to see if a VOX Vt20X modeling amp (with 12ax7 tube) would sound "better" through a Peavey 12" Sheffield speaker (why not everything else does) ------so rather than major surgery and drills and counter sinking and things --open back unplug wires YANK them far enough out to plug up a jack ----- then plug into the PEAVEY of awesomeness..........and the asnwer (for anyone who gives a poop) -
IT SOUND AMAZINGLY GOOD (for under 150.00) ----- I mean STUPID good for less than most boutique pedals
the AC30 model sounds reallly really good
the metal models now CHUG!!!!!! (yep--before they didnt-- I mean it was an 8 inch el cheapo no name speaker) now it vibrates the floor and moves air---

The orange and fender models are respectable -- the mesa and bogner models very very nice ---I assume the Dumble, Diesel and Engl (never heard them in the real world) models are equally CLOSE ----this funny German Monkey likes the amp......(his is a 40 watt) but same software ......

and as I recall he seems to own and test and record some HIGH END stuffs.....so he MIGHT have a little clue .........

sorry to Shanghai your thread Bobby Boy ;)

ooh I bet a VOXVT100X would SLAY through that new cab of yours.............. ;)
