Artec --- products-- they make AMPS and CUSTOM HAND WOUND PICKUPS and pedals and all SORTS of stuffs........who knew

the Giovanni line seems well made -- and a set of the humbuckers on Amazon will set you back a WHOLE 70.00 --for the set---
sandcast magnets--- german silver base plates......sure sounds like good kit -- cheap
and some of the aged ones look an auwful lot like some high end name brand pups ..........not mentioning any names......but.......

The Giovanni PAFs get good reviews on another forum I visit.
I have a set of GVH-1 A5 PAF in my AXL LP type for about 3 years and they are very good.
I dont have any Gibson or brand name PAFs to compare to.
I play this guitar regularly, probably my #1 if I had to pick.

I have several guitars with GUITARMADNESS pups-- which, Im rather SURE he sources from Artec.....
ive not had one I didnt like yet---
Playing a Gibson SG right now with GM P90's in it .............love it
Firebird has GM pups......
HELL -- who knows HOW MANY OTHERS have Artec pups
Peavey Patriot has GM "Dirty Digits"
Les Paul Silverburst has "Wilkinson" P94's........Artec? -- sure look like the picture.........

lol

I believe Artec supplies a lot of OEM.
I have a few of the GM sets as well, i like them too.

I have an A2 PAF Classic 57 type in the bridge of my Ibanez semi hollow and more recently a '59er set in my Epi G400, partially based on Adrian's positive review of them in the past.
I like them both.
They EQ on the bright side which is ok because you can dial it back but you cant dial it in on a darker pickup.

I use artec delay since i play guitar , they have nice pedal called soloist or something along those lines ifs really good sounding and ifs cheap to compare to more expensive brands ...

I used quite a few sets of Artecs in my custom builds. I took a few apart and they did indeed have sand cast magnets and wood spacers too.

Artec builds pickups to spec for quite a few brands. They make the GFS pickups, for instance, and supply OEM pickups to a number of guitar makers.

The Giovanni pickups have a good reputation; they used to be called Artec Special or Artec Deluxe or something like that before they were renamed.
Anyway, it's a discount premium line - a cut above the regular Artec brand pickups (which are super cheap but good for the price).

As for the Milestones, I inquired about those when they were first announced, back around 2014. Eventually I got back an email saying they'd be shipping to the USA very soon. Six years later I still don't know of anyplace in the US that sells them. There's one place in the UK but they list them at ridiculously high prices.

When the promo material says handwound, of course, they mean hand-fed onto machine-turned bobbins. The only pickup maker I know who still hand winds is Zhangbucker. For an upcharge, David will still make a pickup that's actually hand-wrapped. And his standard models (which are absolutely stellar) cost about the same as the Chinese-made Milestones now listed in England.

Milestones might be very good pickups. But I can't see paying boutique-maker prices for pickups from an Asian factory.
Giovannis or Toneriders are about as pricey as I'd want to go for a Chinese pickup.
But that's just me.

The Artec's are a Korean build. I bought several sets of Giovanni's GVH-59's for some of my custom built, Tele-style guitars and they were really very nice sounding.

Eden Guitars in the U.S. sells them:
