So...we were getting ready to go grocery shopping when my wife's friend calls. She is a realtor and she just listed a house.
The guy who is selling the property is an older Korean who has 6 guitars he wants to sell. She (realtor) has no idea what they are so off we go.

When I get there I'm very disappointed. A First Act Bass, another low line Bass, a low $$ Takamine and a Cordoba
that the guy wants to much for. He asks what guitars I'm looking for and I mention Gibson and Fender.

He mentions he has an old Fender Amp...well...things are getting more exciting now! So we go into another room
and I see a very small Fender amp, not old and not valuable. Then he points out a very large Fender amp.

I go turn the amp around (it's on wheels) and it's a Fender Twin Reverb. He said he bought it new in the very early 1980's.
The thing has the very sought after Fender Orange Basket Speakers in it! It's in great shape too.

...and now it's mine! Damn, I really don't need it or have room for it, but I couldn't walk away.

Brought it home, fired it up and it is LOUD! Sounds great! My wife comes in and says "That doesn't
sound like any of your other amps" meaning she likes it, but turn it down!

Serial # comes up 1980. And as usual pics or...

Awesome score dude.
Those speakers appear to be JBL?
Does the speaker label indicate "James B. Lansing?"

This thing sounds Incredible! I'm going to have to model it with my Kemper and see how it compares!

It is very heavy, but hey that's what the wheels are for!

All the pots need cleaning for sure. They have some static when turning them...

I'm surprised how much better this sounds than that 1990 Bassman I had.
