We kinda blew it out for our 40th. Week on the big island. Week on Kauai. Big Island was pretty cool. But we really liked our time on Kauai.

Nope. A few months after we met in 2004 we flew back to MD to see my parents. After a few hours there my dad says “she look like aunt Margret”. I said, who’s aunt Margret?” as we don’t have one. My dad goes, “no, not aunt Margret, ANN Margret”. I didn’t know who that was either. I googled her and DAMN.

When I took this pic (of a pic) I was thinking that the broken picture frame was symbolic of the challenges, that, at the time, our relationship was enduring.

We still have our problems. But we continue to hammer them out, one day at a time.
