R.I.P. Bob Kulick

I was just listening to a recent interview with him and Mitch LaFon on youtube.

Played with Diana Ross, on two of her hits. Producer for Motorhead for a long time.

Contributed quite a lot to our Rock and Roll community. :(

R.I.P. brotha, definitely earned it.
 
There's an old story about him exiting the rec booth and Ace said "How did I play"?

Kulick told him "You never sounded better"

He ghosted for Ace in the studio, uncredited but I think he re-did all or some of the guitars in Alive II
 
interesting.......

I knew Bruce was on tour with them for several of the late 80's shows and recorded a couple albums
didnt realize the dubbing etc. ------more drama in the old KISS camp-----????

either way loss of a great talent!
 
Wouldn't be Kiss if it was drama free.

Bruce, Bob, Mark St John, Vinnie, Ace, Peter, the two Eric's, I'm sure I've forgotten some.

That's what half of being a Kiss fan is about, Gene and Paul's vision- visions lol.

But they are responsible for me starting to be a Rock and Roll fan.

KISS -- more than anything influenced my desire to grab a guitar for sure ---no doubt.
it was RIGHT THERE on the album jacket..........................

Bruce Kulick’s history with KISS goes all the way back to the beginning. Bruce was actually auditioning with Gene, Paul, and Peter when Ace showed up for his audition.
 
FRANKLY I think the INTERWEBS have ""F"" ed up royally ---

Bob (older) brother early KISS involvement
Bruce younger brother later (non makeup) Kiss touring/recording member

Bob got album/recording "credits" but never was a "member" never donned makeup and played the role --per say ??? think I am right here
Bruce toured and recorded mid 80's to mid 90's
