10 best.................Bass Ladies.........

I will add that Jeff Beck show was the single best sounding show I've ever been to. No contest.
Never have seen him in person.

Most definitely jealous.

As far as I am concerned, Jeff Beck and Al DiMeola are the missing links between Les Paul and Chet Atkins to EVH and Steve Vai types.

Of course Django Reinhardt is the o.g. of shredding.

Wait...no Paz on that list?

That's a gonna be a fail for me (althought the people one the list are all spectacularly good)

Met Bianca Halstead many years ago. What a wonderful person we lost.

There are several rockers missing from that list. Looks like he was going after the Steve Vais of bass players. Fun to watch, but the kids can't dance.

Some of my favorites:

Tracy Almazan - Nashville Pvssy and Jane Lee Hooker, amongst others.

Gail Greenwood - Belly, L7, many more

Johnna Asplund - Sahara Hotnights

Katielyn Campbell - Nashville Pvssy

Linda Bean - Frigate, Orbit, Miles Deathmuffin, and many other Boston bands. One of the most sought after bassists in the city.

There are many others too. Kim Gordon, Kim Deal, and on and on and on and on.

I saw him at the Chumash Casino about 2 years ago.
The sound system was horrible.
At least I got to see Jeff Beck even if the sound did suck.
I have the worst luck with sound at live concerts.
If it was me mixing, would have been quite a bit different. Instead it was torturous distortion.

Damnation, set up in a smaller venue, you were probably psyched for a phenom of a show.

Small place, one of the world's best, I bet you were disappointed.
