Presently in my lap:

2011 Carvin Holdsworth Fatboy 2 Synth. Honduran mahogany neck, back and sides. Poplar top. Ebony board with stainless frets. Fully hollow body with synth access and Graphtech Ghost piezo bridge for acoustic output. H22 pickups and all the knobs you could ever hope to twiddle.

This is the only guitar that I am aware of that uses this unique construction method. Kiesel no longer has the page posted that detailed the incredible design, but I'll keep looking. This is the guitar where I fell in love with oil finishes. Tung oil to be exact.
