I've never subscribed to one or the other, if it sounds good it sounds good. granted i never had the chance to own a tube amp but i've owned solid states and hybrids, including the little lunch box o doom orange micro terror, it all works for me

I don't mind SS/Modeling for practice, but I have not heard one yet that can deliver the goods at band volume.

My 3210 is not a modeler.
It’s been called many things but not a modeler, when I record the clip. I plan on doing it at gig volume.

Maybe I shoulda kept the Micro Terror.
If there was a music store conveniently near me I might go play a $1000 guitar into a $2000 amp just to confirm it is my sh*tty hearing and playing. Or my bottom of the barrel gear, or both.

Have you had a head cold , or running nose recently ??
I am serious , because that will wreck havoc on how you hear things, when my nose starts running I won’t touch the knobs on anything.
