'73.....was .....well better

Music was a helluva lot better!

Aah yes, the 70s
Disco music.
Saturday Night Fever...

Hot button pushed!:ohno:

I hate the Bee Gees.
I have hated them since day one.
I have hated everything they have ever done.
(except some tracks from that dopey disco movie. Go figure...)
Some of them are dead and I don't care. I hate the dead ones too.
I hate them all with the burning intensity of a hundred thousand supernovas.
They are, always have been and always will be a festering boil on the skin of music.
A billion years from now the average overall quality of all the music ever composed and
performed throughout the entire universe will still be significantly lower than it would have been
had they never existed.
I hate them.

(Please feel free to mentally insert lots of profanity in every spot where it will be grammatically correct.)

In 73' I was 13 and these guys showed up...they were "Our" band. The American Stones is what they were sometimes refereed to...I saw them in Cincinnati in 1973 and in Dayton in 1974...

I really don't like them.

I'm not a big fan, BUT, they were very talented.

I spent January and February of '74 living on the beach in state campsites in California. Yeah, I was a hippy. At the Malibu campsite there were two young families from Worcester, Mass. who had come to California looking for work. They introduced me to the music of a "local" band of their's. They said they would be big. I've been a fan ever since.

i was 15 years old in 73.My Mother took me and my friend to Portland Oregon to see a outdoor concert at Delta Park.Which was the area for the Portland International Speedway.we were going to see Bachman Turner Overdrive. we had us a whole bag of joints we rolled up.so anyhow the band before BTO was one id never heard of.so out comes these guys called Aerosmith and they played there Dream On new album release and Blew My Mind. they killed it it let me tell you.plus BTO was great to but since that 73 concert tour im sure Aerosmith was never a first act again.
