2008 Epiphone Les Paul Studio GT

Got me a great deal on this, drive out and snapped it up. After I sold my Gibson LPJ I was Missing the LP in the collection, so looked high n low for a cheap replacement and this came up

I think it’s the LP GT version, with the go fast stripes/fake binding.

came with a bag and curly strings. You want curly strings with that pal

Anyhow plays good, needs G string nut slot adjusting but that is all I think

Havnt got home yet, got other things to do won’t be home till late, will post more pics after I clean it up

100% has potential to be a good player, smooth frets and just feels good in the hand. Plugged it into a 5c practice 0.005 wat erm sort of, amp lol and it even sounded good on that

Cool deal...
I've been itching for a Les Paul - they are probably my favorite guitar - my hands just don't like the thickness up the upper frets now days - which would be why my two present Gibo's are the thinner junior/melody style bodies - BUT, MAN I LOVE A GOOD LES PAUL...

Good Epiphone's imo are one of the best " bang for your buck" guitars out there, congrats.

Found couple of raised frets 15-18 and the nut is cut miles too high. Don’t believe it’s ever had a set up. What a shame as the pickups are just sweet via Traynor amp

Leeds, go to Canadian Tire and buy some Goo Gone. It will take the adhesive residue off without harming the guitar finish.
I will drop off the nut files on my way home from work today so you can fix your G-string!!!!!!

Thanks yeh I use a capo on fret 1 and have a nice bit of relief, also a partially raised fret around 17, and the nut is way higher cut for me, big gap to first fret. I don’t believe it’s ever had a set up.
