The Band Wants To Go Direct Out:

been messing with recording all week...swear i play more accurately at reg levels..sorta in the same position i would stand on a stage...have to use headphones all the time in studio & seem to feel unatural at reaction time.. get home & get mad cause i know my prob all day was hearing it how i like it.

in the upcoming move..going to figure out how to build a studio for the player first....

in my sick & twisted world..probably means a full stack & SVT bass rig up on a table. aimed strait at me...lol

Ableton Live Lite 10. You think it's the software? I'm using the current version of the Scarlett 6i6 USB version. Laptop isn't even getting close to using up memory. Under 10% while recording.

You need to correct the latency error. I would suggest looking for a You Tube video on the topic, as I have zero knowledge of that DAW.

Almost any DAW will require latency correction.

Windows, or Mac?

Edit: No matter...you want to check your buffer size. Looks like you may have the option to change the buffer size somewhere in the program “preferences”. If you do not, then the Windows/Mac matters.
Anywho, if you find the option to change buffer size in “preferences”, try changing it to “128” and see if that works for you. If you get clicks, pops, and drop outs....increase the number to “256”.
I should have answered this last night, but I was distracted by the headphones.:BH:
