Gibson LPs with P90s

I was looking on reverb and the cheapest one was like $949. I went wow! Glad I got this years ago:

This is a Special with the baked maple neck. This one has been fine for me. I like the brighter sounding neck.

I have this "50s tribute" model that I got reasonably cheaply. Required strings & a set up & nothing else. Good player & sounds great. Cheers

This ones neck isn't too bad. Not the baseball bat size like my traditional, but the next smaller thickness. About the same as my Heritage 80 Standard's neck. Now if only it had the Norlin size frets. Cheers

The general public is finally getting hip to the awesomeness of P90s I'm afraid.
Wasn't too long ago you could get a real '59 Junior for under a grand 'cause nobody wanted 'em.
I have a few P90 axes but I wish I'd jumped on a couple of vintage ones when they were cheap.

Yep, a thick ol slab of mahogany & a P90 or two or three makes for toneful happiness...

I had a black ‘60’s Tribute LP similar to Ivan H’s for a while but was Jonesing for an LP with humbuckers so I sold it.
Now I have an LP Junior Tribute like BFT’s but in Walnut instead of Ebony.

Mine has a bitchen tone but they have the noise issue. I believe they make some P90s that sound like a P90 but they work like a hum bucker. If anybody is dialed in to this, please feel free to chime in. I'm learning all the time. Thanks for sharing.
