IMHO I like the creme .......it has a vintage, aged...........proper vibe------ then you OPEN THE TAPS on that thing and RIP SOME HEADS!

I'm strongly leaning that way as well.
And no pickguard.
I think it will be a classy look.
The gloss lacquer overspray should make the grain pop a bit more and darken the edgeburst.
