Epiphone Coronet.
Fun guitar, was dual rail pickups, but a single P90 just seemed so natural for it.
Also has a hidden dummy coil to squelch the hum without squelching the tone.
24 frets, a Bigsby with a roller bridge and Grovers. What's not to love...

My other single, a 1959 harmony started life as an all black acoustic archtop. No pickup.

I got it in pieces a few years ago & turned it into a first class solid wood USA made jazz box.

All beautiful, and all shocking that they have anything less than 3 pups.

It is so nice to see that last one with new life. It looks like a museum piece !

Thanks Ray, It is a museum piece now.
I sold it to Adrian a while ago, but had always regretted doing so.
I had weeks of my soul into rebuilding that thing.

So I got it back in one of many thousands of swap deals betwixt us.
A Mesa may have been involved.

I pondered hard over doing a triple dogear Switchmaster kind of job on it, but sanity and reason guided me.
It really is a sweet guitar now.

I can tell you --- it was a wonderful thing to play--- BUT-- as a true instrument will-- it required a skill I dont poses and a "touch" I never will--the notes that flow from it are amazing-- it was truly FAR more Guitar than I could ever use---

like giving a monkey an Ak47 :)

Or an Elephant a Steinway

lol,
HEy Ray you tired of that SG yet --- I mean its a DOG EAR and all----trade ya a nice Ibanez Super Strat for it :run: :run:

Oh yeah, I forgot the old mid 70's Epi acoustic with a P90...
Still in rotation since the late 70's

It's had a humbucker, a Strat single coil and now for the last few years a dogear P90.
Poor guitar was never shown any respect.
Tossed in trunks, left laying around campsites, multiple holes made in it.
