PEAVEY MANTIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Peavey Mantis.jpg

made in USA baby --- tilt neck -- ROCK MAPLE bilaminate neck -- killer shape--- LIGHT --- Fast---
Eat your heart out Dime Bag Daryl!!!!!
I got this thing DELIVERED for less than the low end china Deans .................and less than a CASE for a Gibson V !!!!

--- the pickup is PURE metal-- it has the standard Peavey tone split knob (1-7 humbucker 8-10 single coil)

AND unlike a "V" -- you can play it SEATED comfortably ---

And another BARGAIN BIN ---USA MADE -- piece of QUALITY gear --- staggers into my band of misfit gear......... life, she is good---

no its rather HOT on all cylinders--
they arent expecting you to play Crosby Still and Nash on this----
its more -- Metalica---- Megadeath oriented for sure---

23 frets...i am curious to hear this thing. am fascinated with simple guitars that scream but clean up...it's impressive,,really digging this guitar..even the pickguard shape, the fretboard screams stratt to me but on Gibson scale

cool..what am finding out as i explore the fender amps..the pickups really get exposed for their nuances..i was shocked at how darn good all my Gibsons break the amp right where i like it . I like the hot then a nice slow taper roll off from dimed on down..its like having 10 stomp box's on your volume knob of guitar

IMHO one of the main things is--- its not trying to "recapture the VIBE of the 80's" --- it IS THE 80's ---

thanks steveb63

its a pointy mess -- but man it shreds---
