Background Info on our Favorite Bass Players

Ian Hill of Priest is another favorite and foundational influence for me as well.

Many greats being brought up, right on to you guys for pointing these out. I like the following: Chris Squire, John Entwhistle, John Paul Jones, Jack Bruce, Flee, Lamar Williams, Ralphie Armstrong, Randy Jo Hobbs, Tony Levin, Jaco P and many many many other cool ones.

I can barely name two Bass Players...it's like Page, Plant, Bonham and that other guy.

...no offense Bass Players, I just never leaned that way. But, if I were to name ONE it would be Lemmy!

While the Deftones may not be to everyone's liking, for me after seeing them and their bass player Chi Cheng before his death, I have to include him in any conversation mentioning bass players who left their mark. RIP Chi Cheng
