The Muse I Adorn

Today this, these and this.
I was a little disappointed in the result though.
They all sounded OK together but didn't ring my chimes like
some guitar>pedals>amplifier combinations that I have.
I'm leaning towards a P12Q upgrade in the amplifier.

That's really all you need in a guitar, right there.

The amp head looks very cool.

Lots of color.

That is some colour going on - you do love yeeself some crazy PRS tops, RVA! It is an amazing looking guitar, and no doubt plays and sounds great too.

I really like the Supro, but it's a little fuzzy gainy kinda beast, and I suppose sometimes one would be in the mood for something a little different - probably not ideal as an only amp (not that it is your only amp, just saying in general...).

I'm just playing the Epi LP junior today, trying to get some sounds coming together with the four pedal combo (wanna see what variety of usable sounds I can get with the fuzz) on the board while also considering which treble booster to buy...

You are correct.
It would not serve as an only amp.
It does what it does well but is a little fizzy
on the top end with an SG.
It really sounds nice with a 335 though.

I find that some guitars and amplifiers
are not a good match for each other.

Thank you. As for the treble boost search,, consider a Laney TI. Plexi 67 loves his, and I can see why. It will do a whole lot more tone shaping than just treble.

...what's with the lay down solar panel???

It's a plug and play solar panel with it's own micro inverter. We put 33 solar panels on the roof in 2008 when we did the pool. Those reduced my electric bill to $0. But since then we have added a few wine frigs and other vampires, that now I actually have to pay for electricity again :(. So I bought that 250W PnP panel a few years ago and put it on the deck where it gets sun almost the entire day. My plan it to eventually mount it on top of one of the sheds, just haven't gotten around to it .

That's awesomely good! Beautiful pool, Don...I could sit by a pool all day just listening to the birds and drinking sweet tea.

my plan is to keep playing this tonight

I really like that 408.
The hardtail and black plastics.
They usually have an updown thingy.
and light plastics. Is that an early one?
I also had one of those Princeton 112's for a while.
They sound pretty good for an inexpensive SS amplifier.

The Princeton 112 is LOUD

I changed the plastics from cream to black. I think it is a 2012

Tonight I adorn Carmela after her surgical implants of SD P-Rails and GFS Lil Puncher pups on push-pulls. After her transformation, I have converted my last tele to H-H. My strings are no longer given voice by a mix of icepick and anemic (sorry tele fans - I dug the phrase, so I am printing it - I know twang has its place).
