mooer to come --- damn Im brilliant

well....im in a "mood" -- and frankly tried it a few minutes and remember why I dumped it--- the drum tracks are crap -- and sound thin and fake.....BUT I SAID I would give it a fair go-- so-- further reports to come --- but at the moment the HAMMER is looking REAL GOOD

are you here for a 15 minute argument or the full half hour

You can do it, deep breaths, you can and you will...

My NUX looper, drum beat thingy should be arriving in the next few days, so I am relying on you to show me that it can be done and done well! Stop slacking, and get on with it for the team...

take one for the team-- got it-- ;)

I am curios to compare notes once yours arrives---

I only tried mine with the solid state Marshall last night-- as stated the drum tones are week and thin-- -but maybe a larger amp/speaker -- and going through the effects loop not straight in the front will net gains in tone---

yet to be seen ----its lasted longer than the first one at this point ;)

If all else fails, remember : Always look on the bright side of life.

Yeah, I did that because you can always roll it off if need be. Neither of the new puppies I'm putting in are too bright, so why not give a fuller range because I'm confident I can still get the nice dark tones too.

I gave myself a bit more space than Dave does because some of the punk stuff I try to play, even when driven can be a bit chimey.

Just out of interest, what SS Marshall do you have and how do you find it?
Valvestate 8020-- made in Britain early 90's

I foogin LOVE IT---- it does the 80's Hair Band metal tone 125% PERFECTLY ---all knobs DIMED--- (except volume) on the dirt channel--- it is this guitar tone to SHEER perfection

its about useless for anything else-----but the 1 trick it does do----- it does STELLER------

in a "shootout" my son (not know amp values etc.) picked the Valvestate 8020 tone OVER the Marshall DSL tune combo........it does Marshall metal chug like a PIMP!-- especially (and here is the key) at LIVEABLE home volumes----
the mesa will rip it to shreds and poop on its Mama----but event he mighty mesa doesnt get the CHUG at the low volumes the Marshall does---it needs VOLUME to get the big ol 12" celestion thumping
not so with the Marshall---- IF you can find one---------(this goes for anyone wanting that tone) --- GET ONE

I've heard these are really really good. I looked at getting one, but not easy to find one with the same power as Korea, so ended up with something similar - was shipped from Thomann yesterday...

I thought you might like to see tonight's dinner:

It's a Thai yellow shrimp curry.

Very tasty it was too...

Did you notice anything else? Can you please advise me how to use it!

It seems well made:

No idea what any of the buttons do...

Time to train me up, eESGe.

poop! seems to be nicer than the mooer.....I am noticing however-- they are all very limiting in the drum rhythms --and if you dont LIKE the 2 blues beats a pedal offers --whell your -- stuck
the mooer I think is "midi-ie" and YES a FILL button

Joyo in general ----getting JIGGIY!

Played with my NUX, everyone says it's a Boss RC3 imitation, certainly looks that way. Works fine. Easy to set a tab tempo for the drum rhythm or you can start playing and then start the drum rhythm and it'll track to your pace.

TBH, at this moment in time I just set a distinctly average drum beat and used it to practice. In a while I'll lay down a basic blues rhythm then do a bit of lead. It seems fine; quite like it.

Mooer is actually owned by the wife of the guy who owns Joyo! I guess she wanted to do her own thing? Or they wanted to see if another company could generate business?
