About 6 or 9 months ago I tried to buy a Fender LTD Tele, rosewood neck, surf green.
No go, Fender NOT bringing them into Australia. :-(
Happened again TODAY, I ordered a special from Sigler Music, reply was "I am sorry, but per our agreement with Fender, we are not able to ship the guitars outside of the U.S." :-(

I just got a quote from Warmoth that a multi-piece Rosewood Stratocaster body is currently $1,700 and there are restrictions on where Rosewood can be shipped!

Most of what you said in the last couple of posts went over my head, remember I'm a new boy to guitars.
But I agree, rosewood pickguards, nice.
I have a Taylor 616ce, ebony fingerboard and binding with "striped ebony" pickguard, to my untrained eye similar to rosewood, nice!
