RANDY RHOADS... 36 Years Ago!

Makes me wonder.
Yep shame, crossroads come to collect?
Expressive talent.
love the classical infusion.

Time to re-listen as an adult *shudders* learning guitar as opposed to a young dude who liked 80's metal, among other things young dudes like.

I have Dee and many others on my cell phone.

This was my musical answer to "Dee." It was written and recorded in the 1980's on 4 track cassette as a tribute to Randy. Although not on par with his work on "Dee," it was more of a farewell and a thank you than anything else.

It was played on an old Hohner 400N acoustic.

In March of 2002, I presented it in person to Randy's mom at her 931 Amherst home in Burbank - where Randy grew up.

Dolores had tears in her eyes as she listened to this brief tribute. It was one of my most moving and memorable experiences...

Randy's Volkswagen Scirocco in the driveway of his childhood home in Burbank in 2008. His car remained - in this spot where Randy parked it last - from 1982 until 2010 when it was finally moved into the garage.
