I love the EMG's in my Jackson...I think they are one of the best sounding pick ups I've ever played through. They really cut through the mix.

Black, I almost forgot I have EMG's too. Not sure if anyone has this combo, but if you guys remember back to when I got my 76 Sg Standard, it had the EMG's in it plus the original Tarbacks in the deal. In my case, the model numbers were faded out on the EMG boxes, but when I removed them from the SG, I found out the neck pup was an EMG-H Single coil in a humbucker size, and the bridge was the EMG-81

The H pickup is EMG's original single-coil pickup design inside a humbucking housing. It debuted in 1974 as the first noiseless single coil pickup, featuring the widest possible frequency response for clarity, and a rich blend of related harmonics. This pickup is an excellent choice for the rhythm guitarist who needs added definition for chording, or for lead work when the bright attack of a single coil pickup is required. Package Includes: Package Includes: EMG's exclusive Solderless Install System; split shaft volume/tone control set, output jack, battery clip set, screws & springs.
