It's nothing like an M2, imho.
2018 LP Jr. Billie Joe Armstrong Signature
It seems much more like the 2018 junior with a humbucker (and a slim taper neck instead of a rounded neck):
Les Paul Junior 2018
The quality, playability and sound of these is nigh-on custom shop levels, and many many folks who have bought the 2018 juniors and also have the original era junior rate the 2018s highly. There are many many threads from folks who have bought these guitars and all end with the same appraisal: these are great value for money.
I'm actually thinking about getting one of those new BJA juniors (because they don't have his brand spread all over them...) and switching out the 57 classic for an 11k Angus Young puppy that's sitting in my drawer doing nothing (why not add a Gotoh bridge and locking tuners like Dave's while we're at it) - for a killer do-everything guitar.
So, I am gonna totally go against the grain of this thread and say if it plays as good as the other 2018 juniors then it'll be a brilliant guitar at the same money that was paid for juniors back in the 50s (plus, our current day spending money goes a lot further than it did in the 50s). It's a great value guitar.
