NGD - Wolf tele

RVA

Ambassador
Maple thru neck, walnut top, ash back, grover tuners. It is pretty heavy for a tele, maybe 9.5 if I had to guess. Walnut is always weighty. Looking forward to getting her plugged into a Peavey or Marshall. i will take some sound clips with these pups ion case I change them and put them up for grabs.

Very nice. Love that neck heel.
Have not been happy with tones from my tele but have been more into HB or P90 into british tube circuits/speakers lately.

Oh yes, that is a nice axe. Looks really well made. Congrats, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Cheers
Edit: I just noticed the fretboard inlays, cool. Cheers

Walnut is very heavy, I use quite a bit of it. Beautiful guitar regardless......

Great looking Telecaster Ray! The heel looks great for superior upper fret access and the wood looks gorgeous. I noticed you have Destiny GNC wound pick ups. How do you compare them to the Tom Anderson pups? And is the fret board ebony? Jeez Ray...how many guitars are you up to now? About 670 or 680? Time to build warehouse #4.:D

Yes, that is ebony. I have not tried these pickups yet, but I tried a set of HBs. They were nice and Wav has them now. These will probably be up for grabs.

It is a different kind of Tele, that's for sure! You do not see a neck thru Tele very often.

That # of guitars may be right...if you count just the ones in blue.

If I only count the WHITE ones then I only own 1 ------

I like this quantity by color idea---

when the Bankruptcy guy says --- MR JONES HOW MANY GUITARS DO YOU OWN!?!?!--- I can say -- one (and mumble) white one-- and all is well .....

So some observations.

The pups sound great. They may stay for a while.

I though this was a typo, but this guitar does indeed have a 20" radius. On a Tele. 20"!! That is fine by me because I like bends, but I normally would be content with 14". The fretwork seems fine, but I will have to buy a 20" radius beam or use a straight beam in 3rds if I want to do a level.

Im curious--- doesnt this
