So here is a peek at what my Christmas present is this year. I'm gonna apply a light stain and tung oil after it arrives, then I still need to wire it up.

Custom built semi-hollow body carved top SG shaped guitar with P-Rails humbuckers in SD Triple Shot pickup rings and Lashbrook piezo bridge. Two concentric pots for vol/tone bridge and vol/tone neck. The back two pots are vol and tone for the piezo. The input jack is on the side ala LP is a stereo jack. The front switch is neck/both/bridge magnetic pick ups and the back switch where the SG jack normally lives is a piezo/ both/magnetic selector switch.

Since this has some SG qualities and some Les Paul qualities, I guess that it's a Les G or should that be LeSG

And the fret board is ebony with 24 stainless steel frets, MOP and abalone inlays. Also custom made all to my specs just as the guitar was.

Ahh, thats the one you've been waiting on.
I hope everything come up Aces (High) this time!
Your message count is quite impressive, Grant.

You dont need no stinkin' guitars from Sweetwater.

HELL F'in YEA!!!! Glad it's finally on the way! I sure hope it's everything you've been hoping for! And if it is of course I'm going to have to see it....

Ooh! You know, I didn't even notice the semi-hollow, I was too busy looking at pattern of the wood and the inlays. Had to scroll back up and check! Looks sweet as it is, but a bit of oil and it'll be heavenly.
